Client Overview Microdigisys is a leading IT transformation partner, specializing in providing high-quality IT products and services, including desktops, laptops, workstations, and networking solutions. Their goal was to establish a strong online presence and create a seamless e-commerce platform that would cater to businesses and tech enthusiasts looking for reliable IT solutions.


Project Objective The primary goal of this project was to design and develop a user-friendly e-commerce website that would:

  • Showcase Microdigisys's extensive product catalog.

  • Provide a seamless shopping experience for customers.

  • Enhance brand credibility and online presence.

  • Ensure easy navigation and accessibility across all devices.

Research and Planning To ensure a successful outcome, I conducted market research to analyze industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor websites. Additionally, I created detailed user personas representing IT professionals, business owners, and individual tech buyers to guide the user experience (UX) design process.

Design Process

  1. Information Architecture

    • Structured the website to ensure intuitive navigation, categorizing products clearly under desktops, laptops, workstations, and networking equipment.

    • Designed a straightforward menu layout to make product discovery effortless.

  2. Wireframing and Prototyping

    • Created low-fidelity wireframes to establish the basic layout and functionality.

    • Developed high-fidelity prototypes to refine the design and ensure a polished user experience.

  3. Visual Design

    • Selected a clean and professional color scheme aligned with the brand identity.

    • Chose modern typography and high-quality images to enhance readability and visual appeal.

    • Ensured consistency in UI components for a cohesive look and feel.
